I sometimes carve larger stamps and print them on postcards. This video shows how a stamped postcard is created from a pencil draft. It looks fun, but it does take lots of patience! Enjoy!

中文校外短期課程 – 日式手工橡皮章(25小時)
手工橡皮章在十年前於日本興起，至今已成為不少人的藝術創作新媒體，更是一種減壓良方。本課程適合對手工橡皮章有興趣的人士報讀，由淺入深，介紹手工橡皮章的由來、創作理論、圖和字體的雕刻技巧、人像雕刻、自製印台和套色技巧等，旨讓學員能輕鬆地掌握印章創作和享受印章的樂趣。課程限收 20 人。(材料費約 HK$250，需於第一課交予導師。)
日期: 2016年10月11日至12月13日(逢星期二)
時間: 晚上7時至9時半
地點: 尖沙咀漆咸道南67號安年大廈
課程: 10堂, 共25小時

I am not an eraser. I am an eraser stamp.
This 3D eraser stamp was carved with a piece of thick white eraser a friend had given me months ago. The eraser carving method was similar to wood carving, except you could simply use a cutter or thin carving knife instead.
On the bottom I carved a small Chinese character, “heart”，or “mind”.
Not difficult at all!
Alphabet Stamps (Japanese Vocabularies)
Started my alphabet stamp carving project two days ago. Would like to design stamp using Japanese vocabularies, adding some wafu to them, as always.

七月份中大短期課程 – 日式手工橡皮章(25小時)
自2015年在中文大學專業進修學院教授日式手工橡皮章以來, 看到不少同學對印章雕刻十分熱愛, 令我在教授的同時, 亦被他們的好學和熱誠打動.
印章雕刻看似簡單, 有人視作手工, 亦有人視之為創作,一種表達自己的媒介. 每位同學都帶著不同原因和期望上這十堂課, 而我最希望的是同學在課程之後, 能找到他們想要的東西.
每期課程的首堂都會教同學們親自雕刻他們的第一顆印章. 你們每位雀躍不已的驚歎聲, 和滿心歡喜的表情, 都是我堅持教授刻章的原因. 當你發覺, 雙手除了玩遊戲機玩iPhone打電腦外,還可雕刻出自己要的圖案時, 你會開始體驗到創作的快樂.

I love ex-libris!
I just created my first ex-libris. Of course, once again, the design is about kokeshi. I chose my wood carving knife mostly to make this stamp, in order to create a more natural, raw feeling to it. Do you like my ex-libris? =)
印章工作坊の圍裙設計 DIY Eraser Stamp Workshop

＊這次工作坊達３小時屬加長版，而同學在堂上除印台和雕刻工具外，亦可借用導師刻的英文字母印章，務求各同學能盡情享受印章的樂趣。
導師介紹
JESCA (Japan Eraser Stamp Creators Association) 認定橡皮章作家/ 講師 Helen曾於日本生活，由於熱愛源自當地的手工橡皮印章這手藝，曾向不同的日本刻章導師學習。考獲資格後於2013年在東京的橡皮印章嘉年華(Stamp Carnival)出展, 並獲兩項印章設計獎。回港之後立志讓更多人認識這手作和感受印章創作的快樂。
開班日期：８月30日（星期六）
時間：下午2:30至5:30
地點: JCCAC九龍石硤尾白田街30號 1/F Design Port
費用：$350
人數：3-10人（十歲或以下的參加者可攜一位成人參加；學費／材料包作一位計算）
備註：講師將為每位參加者準備刻章工具，並派發日本Seed橡皮磚（明信片大小）一塊和圍裙一條。

DIY Eraser Stamp workshop will be held again on 30th August, 2014 from 2:30PM to 5:30PM at Design Port, JCCAC in Shek Kip Mei, Hong Kong. Once again, we will be carving stamps together after instructor’s demo, followed by designing your own apron by stamping on it! It will be a challenging yet creative and fun workshop!
